Welcome to my exhibition at Bibliotheket on Friday, April 5 between 17-20. I will exhibit original paintings and character sketches behind the book Addis afro, written by Jali Madi Susso, illustrated by me, and published by Bonnier Carlsen.
And not only that. I will also bring my artist’s book Fortes’ Fauna, a 100-day project from last year. I have shared all the paintings from the artist’s book here on Instagram, but I can assure you that it’s a whole other thing to experience it live.
Bibliotheket is a tiny and unique library of artist’s books curated by Mari Lagerqvist. It is also, now and then, an exhibition space for books and related stuff.
This exhibition is part of Epidemifredag, an evening with many things happening at Konstepidemin. Welcome to a lovely evening with Addi and lots of animals. Looking forward to meeting you all.
